About Soléne Floral

Soléne Floral is a floral design company rooted in Austin and serving the surrounding areas. We create arrangements that feel thoughtful and personal, whether you're planning a wedding, hosting an event, or simply want fresh flowers at home.

Our style is sculptural and a little moody, inspired by Dutch still life paintings. We love lush, abundant blooms balanced with open space, so every arrangement feels full but never crowded. We often pull from the whole garden, too, mixing in fruit, vegetables, branches, and seed pods for a look that feels fresh and unexpected.

Every piece starts with a conversation about what you picture, and from there we make the process feel easy, even fun. We respond promptly, keep track of every detail, and share ideas along the way, so the finished day goes beyond what you imagined.

Moments like that are what our name is about. Soléne is tied to ceremony and carries a sense of grace, and we hope to bring both to everything we design: weddings, corporate events, intimate gatherings, hotels, and the flower deliveries and subscriptions that make an ordinary day feel worth celebrating.

NOOR HAMZA

FOUNDER AND LEAD FLORAL DESIGNER

I'm Noor, the founder and floral designer behind Soléne Floral. Flowers started as my creative outlet, and they've grown into a way to bring together the things I love most: art, attention to detail, and people.

The art side comes from museums, travel, and fashion. Fashion has always been one of my biggest interests, and it has shaped the way I see color and texture. I love playing with color in different ways, from soft tones that blend gradually into one another to clean blocks of color placed side by side. Inspiration can come from anywhere, whether it's a color I notice in a painting or a designer's newest collection, and all of it helps me bring your vision to life.

The detail side comes from my background in biomedical science and project management. My time in the lab made me someone who notices the small things, which comes in handy with flowers. Project management is why I like a clear plan and a timeline everyone can follow, so you never have to wonder where things stand.

And the people are the best part. My favorite moment in the process is our design session, when your ideas start to take shape. The conversations, the stories behind your choices, and seeing you light up when it all clicks are what make this work meaningful to me.

This is usually where I'm supposed to name my favorite flower, but my honest answer involves listing about 17 of them, and the list changes with every season. Ask me during our design session and you'll probably hear about whatever just caught my eye that week.

When I'm not surrounded by flowers, you'll find me at a coffee shop, in a Pilates class, or adding just one more piece to my wishlist. Weekends usually start with a negotiation with my husband over how many stores we're visiting (he usually settles), followed by a debate about dinner that almost always ends at 1618 or with kebab delivered to the door.

Back to flowers: more than anything, I want you to feel understood. Tell me what you're picturing, even if it's just a feeling, and we'll build it together.
